The Meedle Party.
Just shy of the exact middle of the year, June 30th will be the day when
Brooklyn, NY celebrates the middle.
The Twinkie, the Oreo, and the Cupcake... Happily, they all share something
in common.Their wonderful Meedle.
In a world where the left and right are relentlessly at odds, wouldn't it be nice to celebrate something as simple as the meedle?
No politics here...just a simple, wholesome appreciation of the middle.
The celebration will start in the middle of the day. It will end in the
middle of the night.
We plan to have a countdown to the middle of the party where a magnificent ball will drop and stop...you guessed it!
Right in the meedle.
There will be bowling. Why? You aim for the middle.
You can visit the Middle Ages...or the middle of nowhere.
Turn of your mind and feel the comfort of The Meedle.
Play "pin the tail in the MIDDLE of the donkey."
Shoot darts and hit the MIDDLE or aim for the target in the DUNK TANK.
Get to the middle of the piñata.
Music will play. People will laugh. Be in the MEEDLE of it all.
It is a celebration of the here and now. The past and the future are put
on hold...for one day...in the middle of the year.
The event will take place at "The Hook" in Red Hook Brooklyn.
Take the F train to Carroll Street for the FREE Shuttle Bus to the Meedle Party.
Car fare from Park Slope is $8, from Manhattan it's $10-$12
